SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla., March 20, 2018 – Recognizing the need to support and celebrate workplace diversity and mutual respect among colleagues of different backgrounds, Private Label Skin has partnered with Community Tampa Bay to sponsor its annual Transformations event. Taking place Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, this fundraising event supports the mission of ending workplace discrimination of all forms while honoring community leaders who serve as champions for diversity and inclusion.

“Private Label Skin is proud to support Community Tampa Bay and its Transformations event,” said Eric Pogue, PrivateLabelSk.in’s CEO. “This organization empowers people in an incredibly meaningful way, by encouraging conversations, celebrating diversity and advocating for local business leaders to bridge differences. The Transformations event is a celebration of their successes, and Private Label Skin is excited to stand beside them as a business that exemplifies inclusion in the workplace.”

Founded in the 1940s, Community Tampa Bay strives to end all forms of discrimination by cultivating inclusive leaders who will change and improve dialogue and cross-cultural interactions. The organization provides the tools necessary to have difficult conversations among people of different backgrounds and empowers them to build relationships based on mutual respect. Community Tampa Bay envisions a community free of any discrimination and works with approximately 1,000 individuals annually to help achieve that goal.

The Transformations event is Community Tampa Bay’s premier annual fundraising event, featuring a cocktail reception that brings together more than 100 guests who are leaders in the local business, civic and education arenas. In addition to honoring select community leaders, the event features arts and entertainment that captures the spirit of Community Tampa Bay’s mission.
